Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the 1776 Desk website and service. 1776 Desk is a trade name of Joietoria LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("we," "us"). By using the site or the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
1776 Desk is an AI back office for small staffing and recruiting firms. It re-engages past candidates, schedules interviews, chases timesheets, sends hiring-manager updates, and ranks applicants. A human at your firm makes every decision. The service never auto-rejects anyone.
1776 Desk is built on xAI's Grok models through xAI's developer platform. We are independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by xAI or X.
Pricing and payment
Free 7-day test. Try the service at no cost.
First month: $1,000. It comes with a money-back guarantee tied to targets we agree on in writing before the month starts. If we miss those targets, we refund the first month's fee.
After that: $1,500 per month, with a 3-month minimum.
Cancelling. After the minimum term, either side can cancel with 30 days' written notice.
Fees are billed in advance unless we agree otherwise in writing. Fees do not include taxes, which you are responsible for where they apply.
Your responsibilities
You approve all message templates before we use them.
You confirm you have the right to share the data you connect and to contact the people we message for you.
You follow the laws that apply to your hiring, employment, and outreach practices.
You review AI output and make all hiring decisions yourself.
You will not use the service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.
How we handle messages and data
We follow anti-spam rules and include opt-outs, and we honor them. We keep logs of what our automations send. We use only the access needed to do the work. We never sell your data. We delete working copies of your data when you ask or when service ends. Our Privacy Policy explains more.
AI output
AI can make mistakes. Rankings, summaries, and drafts are suggestions to help your team, not decisions. You are responsible for the choices you make based on them.
Ownership
You own your data. We own the 1776 Desk service, website, and related materials. You give us permission to use your data only to provide the service to you.
Booking
Intro calls are booked through Cal.com. Cal.com's own terms apply to its scheduling tool.
Disclaimers
Except for the written first-month guarantee, the service is provided "as is." We do not promise specific hiring results or that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Ending service
We may suspend or end service if you seriously break these terms or do not pay. When service ends, we delete working copies of your data as described above.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Changes to a signed agreement need both sides to agree in writing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
